In this project, we were responsible for Jifong's brand visual identity design and the planning of subsequent extended collateral — from logo form to atmospheric visuals, all completed by our team.

The most precious asset of a heritage brand is often the landscape it inhabits. Our task was not to conjure a symbol from nothing, but to translate the mountains, mist, and paddy fields surrounding Meinong — the scenery of everyday life — into a visual language that can be remembered and used.

Jifong is located in Meinong, Kaohsiung, surrounded on all sides by mountains, with farmland and forest layered in tiers. When the mist is heavy, every vista becomes a landscape ink painting. We wove the rolling mountains and winding paddy fields into the design, creating an immersive journey through the countryside.

The Rolling Mountains and Winding Paddy Fields, Gathered into Painting

Starting from the natural scenery of Meinong, we transformed the layered ridgelines of mountain ranges and the winding textures of paddy fields into a visual vocabulary. The color palette echoes the forested atmosphere on heavy-mist days — grounded and composed, with a quiet warmth and tranquility woven through.

In the extended applications, this ink-painting vocabulary is deconstructed and recomposed, so that each piece held in hand feels like bringing that landscape home — not just a brand identity, but an immersive journey through mountains and water that can be touched and carried.
